April is over and I thought I'd share with everyone my favorite products for last month. Some of the products are new. Some are just to amazing not to mention and some are just new shades.

Bobbi Brown Lip Shine Treatment
BobbiBrown’s Treatment Lip Shines SPF 15 come in 14 lovely shades, with
each retailing for $23 and weighing in at 0.07 oz. It’s described as a
“lightweight, soft shine lipstick that doubles as a rejuvenating moisture
treatment.” It also contains “natural Cocoa and Shea Butters, Jojoba, Apricot
Kernel and Avocado oils … Peptides, along with Vitamin C.” It sells for $21.50 on my website.
I actually really liked these, and even though they looked pretty, I wasn’t
so sure whether they’d be a product I’d enjoy. I'm more of a lipstick girl. Coming from Bobbi Brown, I
completely expected incredibly sheer, barely-there color. I’m happy to report
that isn’t the case here! They’re not even remotely sheer. Each shade I tried
was different from the next–these aren’t sheered out shades that end up looking
the same on lips, must to my delight!
Bobbi Brown Extra Repair Eye Cream
The
cream is $68, HOWEVER, I've been using it for almost a year and it's not even half empty. I can see this product lasting 18 months, used during the day under your
makeup and at night. On my site it's $61.00.
I've been using this cream mainly during my night routine. It's a thick,
luxurious cream that can be used very sparingly. I lightly tap a thin coverage
with my ring finger, let it absorb for a couple minutes the continue with my
routine.
This cream WORKS! Even though I didn't start with many lines, I'd say at LEAST
90% is gone. Love it!!
Bobbi Brown Beach Fragrance
Bobbi Brown's Beach Fragrance has such a fresh and unique smell. I absolutely love this for the summer. It captures the smells of the beach. It has a blend of sand jasmine, sea spray and mandarin. The quality is also amazing because the scent truly clings to you for the entire day. This retails for $67.50 but comes with 1.7 fluid oz. On my site you can find it for $60.50. My new favorite scent!
Stila Smudge Pots
Stila's Smudge Pots are perfect as a gel eyeliner or as a base. These come in 8 shades. I really like the size of the product. They're quite a bit larger then most gel eyeliners. They have great staying power too. These retail for $20 but get them on my site for $18
NARS Taj Mahal Blush
NARS Taj Mahal Blush is ($28.00 for 0.16 oz.) is a vibrant tangerine orange with a soft, golden
sheen. It is pigmented to the max, as many NARS blushes are, but this one
is even more so than the average NARS blush. It is such a beautiful and unique color.
When worn lightly, it can be a beautiful shade of lightened peach-orange
with a golden shimmer-sheen. It looks absolutely gorgeous on warmer skin
tones, especially those with deeper complexions. It can, quite obviously,
be built up for a very intense look, if so desired. Texture is soft, smooth,
and the blush looks luminous when applied to skin. It gives skin an added
warmth and subtle glow from the shimmer-sheen, and if you go easy, it’s very,
very wearable and flattering. It sells for $24 on my site.
NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base
It has a doe-foot applicator (like the kind you see in lipgloss). It
has an incredibly thin, slightly creamy consistency. When applied, it looks
white on the applicator, but it is virtually colorless.
It
lives up to all the claims NARS makes about it: lightweight, extends the wear,
smooths the surface, and maximizes color. I didn’t experience any budging,
smudging, creasing, or migration when I used this as a primer underneath my
eyeshadows. It is a clear, matte primer that merely smooths over the lid and
acts to hold and bond all the eyeshadow together. Colors definitely doesn't look
muted at all, and they hold their intensity throughout the day. Love how much adhering power it has!! This is available on my site for $21.50.
Make Up For Ever Aqua Lip Pencils
Make Up For Ever Aqua Lip Liner's
($18.00 for 0.04 oz.) is a
long-wearing lip liner that really does not budge until you take your best
makeup remover to it. This is the area it most excels in–the wear is
phenomenal, and the liner itself stays on when you're drinking water and coffee
with no problems at all. It can be layered underneath lipstick/gloss or used to
define the lips. It’s soft enough that it’s easy to apply the liner on the
lips, but it’s not so creamy that it becomes more like a lipstick pencil than a
liner. It doesn’t give much moisture, but it doesn’t leave lips feeling dry
nor dry them out as it wears. These come in so many shades it's unbelievable. These are available on my site for $16.
MAC Angel Lipstick
MAC's Angel Lipstick is the perfect color for any skin tone. This lipstick is a subtly yellow-toned light-medium pink with
soft silver micro-shimmer that translates more into a frosted finish than it
does a shimmery one. It yields mostly opaque color coverage. It retails for $14.50 but you can find it on my site for $13.
Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips & Cheeks
Bobbi Brown's Pot Rouge for Lips & Cheeks are in a new package now with new shades. The new flip-top compact is mirrored and super cute. It's now in 9 great shades. My favorite is the Calypso Coral. These retail for $24 and can be found on my site for $21.50.
